What is tuition like this year (2020-21) and when will I know how much tuition will be?
-
Tuition Guidelines for the 2020-21 school year can be found here, for all tuition payers.
Beginning in September, tuition letters will be sent on a weekly basis. These letters will reflect your
child’s specific preschool location. For the 2020-2021 school year, all children will receive a 50% discount
on tuition. Children attending fully remote family-directed learning providers will not have any tuition.
Children attending providers who are offering any in-person services (including hybrid) will be charged
tuition at the 50% discounted rate Please see our tuition guidelines for more details on how tuition is
determined and billed.
You can use our tuition calculator to determine your estimated tuition. This calculator reflects the 50%
discount already. Please remember, income is calculated by GROSS income (pre-tax, pre-deductions), not NET.

We’re attending a “hybrid” site that offers only two days in person each week. Do we still have to pay the 50% tuition amount?
-
Tuition has been reduced to 50% of the typical rate this year to reflect the fluctuations in schedule and
service offerings. All SPP providers will be offering robust services to families either in-person or from
home, directed by caregivers. For this reason, although your in-person services may be two days a week, you
can expect your provider to offer additional supports and services to your child through online programming,
individual supports, and family check-ins, among other activities.
SPP has also committed to offering this discount for the entire school year, for all children, even if
program models change to offer more in-person services.

How do I pay tuition?
-
Tuition can be paid by phone or mail. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept online payments or
auto-payments. Please see our tuition guidelines here for more details.
